What to Expect on Your Whitewater Rafting Adventure
All whitewater rafting trips in Jackson Hole take place on an 8-mile stretch of the scenic Snake River. The rapids on the river are typically class 3 (intermediate) with moderate, irregular waves. But the river's flow fluctuates throughout the season, with higher volume in spring and lower volume in late summer. This will affect the class of the rapids and how long you will be on the water. Typically, you will be on the water for 1.5-2 hours.
